Hens, Coop And New Chicks
I went to the chicken coop in the backyard and saw sort of a chaotic situation. Some of the hens were standing there and there were lots of eggs, some broken and initially I thought the hens broke them and ate them, but then I noticed a cute yellow newly hatched chick, and then another one. So I called on my wife to come and check it out. We were not expecting to have that many eggs in the coop, and since none of the hens were broody, it was a surprise, but a pleasant one.
